Qualifications

Job description

Nursery: Bright Horizons Fulham Day Nursery and Preschool

Salary: Starting from £30,000 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

Location: Fulham, London

We are looking for a full-time, Level 3 qualified Room Leader to join our Bright Horizons Fulham Nursery, conveniently located close to Parsons Green tube station.

Our amazing Fulham Day nursery is a 137-place setting that proudly offers rooms that are spacious and well-resourced, including state-of-the-art interactive whiteboards and touch screen computers in the preschool room!

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education
  • Ensure the learning environment provides consistent stimulation and engaging activities for the children, across both the indoor and outdoor areas
  • Deliver and plan rich learning opportunities and exceptional care to help all children develop and meet their individual milestones
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents, and/or carers, as well as other professionals, to meet the individual needs of each child
  • Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety, and safeguarding
  • Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy, and safe environment

What we’re looking for

  • Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (essential)
  • Previous experience working within an Early Years setting - ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, or similar
  • Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
  • Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
