Job summary

Kids Planet is seeking a Room Leader at Patterdale Lodge. This term-time only role involves leading a room, ensuring high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS, and supporting your team to help children thrive.

You should hold at least a UK Level 3 early years qualification, have a solid understanding of EYFS, and safeguarding knowledge. Leadership experience is desirable. We offer training, a generous benefits package, and a friendly central support team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least Level 3 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification.
• Excellent understanding of EYFS.
• Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a room within the nursery, ensuring high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS.
• Support and guide the team, fostering a positive, collaborative environment and promoting professional development.
• Build strong relationships with children and families, ensuring each child’s individual needs are met and their learning is supported.
