Room Leader Vacancy – Birkenhead (CH44)

Are you a dedicated and experienced childcare professional seeking your next opportunity? We are looking for a Room Leader to join a well-established nursery in Birkenhead (CH44).

Role Details:

  • Position: Room Leader
  • Location: Birkenhead
  • Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
  • Contract: Full-time, permanent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of nursery practitioners within your designated room.
  • Deliver the highest standard of care and education for children aged 0-5 years.
  • Plan and implement engaging activities that promote children's learning and development.
  • Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and the nursery management team.
  • Maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
  • Monitor and assess children’s progress in accordance with the EYFS framework.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification (or higher) in Early Years Education (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience in a nursery setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • A thorough understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
  • Paediatric First Aid certification (preferred but not essential).
  • A positive, enthusiastic, and caring approach.
