Job description

Job Title: Room Leader

Our Spencers Wood Day Nursery, near Reading, part of Grandir UK, is currently looking for a Room Leader to work as part of the management team. You'll provide professional leadership to all staff members and maintain the highest standards of care and education.

Responsibilities:
  • Promote high standards of quality within the nursery
  • Support and supervise playroom staff
  • Deploy staff appropriately to meet standards
  • Implement nursery keycarer procedures and allocate children accordingly
  • Ensure practice complies with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Provide feedback to parents/carers about their child
  • Promote the nursery to current and potential clients
  • Develop positive relationships with staff and parents
