Job summary

Kids Planet Wigston is hiring a Room Leader to lead a nursery room in accordance with EYFS standards. The role focuses on delivering high-quality care, guiding the team, and building strong relationships with children and families in a supportive setting.

The successful candidate will hold a Level 3 UK Early Years qualification with strong EYFS knowledge and safeguarding experience. This role offers a collaborative environment and opportunities for training and development.

Qualifications

• Must be at least Level 3 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification.
• Excellent understanding of EYFS.
• Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.
• Leadership experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a nursery room ensuring high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS.
• Support and develop the team, fostering a positive, collaborative environment.
• Build strong relationships with children and families to meet individual learning needs.

How you'll make a difference as a Room Leader:
