Qualifications

  • Level 3 or higher Early Years qualification is essential.

Job description

Salary– £29,536 per year (full-time equivalent, dependent on qualifications and experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a Room Leader for our Didsbury nursery, which has an Ofsted rating of "Outstanding" and is conveniently located in Didsbury Village with excellent bus and tram links.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead, mentor, support, and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education.
  2. Support children in developing and achieving their individual milestones.
  3. Promote and ensure child welfare, health and safety, and safeguarding.
  4. Maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to meet each child's needs.
Qualifications and Skills
  1. Level 3 or higher Early Years qualification.
  2. Experience working in an Early Years setting, ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, or similar role.
  3. Passion for creating inclusive and engaging learning environments.
  4. Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  5. Knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and relevant legislation.
  6. Ability to build trust and strong relationships with colleagues and parents.
  7. Effective communication skills with children and adults.
