Job summary

Kids Planet Austhorpe is looking for a Room Leader to guide a nursery room, ensuring high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS. You will lead the team, promote a positive, collaborative culture and support professional development.

You will build strong relationships with children and families, meet each child’s needs, and help them thrive through engaging activities and safeguarding practices. A Level 3 Early Years qualification and EYFS knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 3 UK-recognised early years qualification.
• Excellent understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Extensive safeguarding knowledge.
• Leadership experience desirable.

• Lead and manage a nursery room ensuring high-quality care and education per EYFS.

How you'll make a difference as a Room Leader

By leading and managing a room within the nursery, ensuring high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS.

Through supporting and guiding the team, fostering a positive, collaborative environment and promoting professional development.

Through building strong relationships with children and families, ensuring each child's individual needs are met and their learning is supported.

What a Room Leader needs

• Must be at least Level 3 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification.
• Excellent understanding of EYFS.
• Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.
• Leadership experience desirable.
