Room Attendant, Malmaison

Rate of Pay / Hours: £12.5 / 30 hours

Job Description

Working as part of the Housekeeping team, you will ensure all guest bedrooms within the hotel are cleaned daily to the highest standards. You should have an eye for detail and high standards to meet our guests' expectations of a perfect night’s stay.

Malmaison provides a range of luxury and boutique hotels in 15 landmark locations across the United Kingdom. Known for style and hospitality, Malmaison offers exquisite accommodation with a relaxing atmosphere, along with sumptuous food and wine in our trademark Chez Mal Brasseries.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests, so conversational English is essential.
• Work independently for periods of time.
• Ensure bedrooms are clean and tidy for guests' arrival and continued stays.

Additional Information

Flexibility: Shifts are usually between 9am – 3pm, 5 days out of 7, with start times between 9am – 10am. Early start times and flexible contracts, including weekend work, can be discussed at interview.

Physical Requirements: The role is physically demanding; a good level of fitness is required. Full training on chemicals and equipment will be provided.

Experience: Not required, but a positive attitude and a desire to make a difference are essential.

We actively encourage internal development and progression. Malmaison plans to have 100 new apprentices by the end of the year. Candidates will have the opportunity to enroll in our apprenticeship scheme after completing their probation period.
