Job summary

Dakota Hotels is seeking a Room Attendant to ensure immaculate guest rooms and en-suite bathrooms, delivering a high standard of cleanliness and comfort across our properties in the UK.

You will work independently, with a strong eye for detail and a proactive approach to guest preferences, such as pillow firmness or cot setups, while adhering to safety and cleaning guidelines. A positive team culture and ongoing development are highlighted in the benefits package.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one year's cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently in guest rooms and maintain pace.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in cleaning.
• Proactive, positive and task-focused with a good work ethic.
• Flexible with shifts and able to meet business needs.
• Demonstrates brand research and genuine interest in joining the team.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly deep clean guest bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms, make beds and detail spaces for a welcoming environment.
• Vacuum, dust, polish, mop and lift items like duvets as part of routine cleaning.
• Note guest preferences and requests to personalise stays (e.g., firm pillows, cot setup).
• Maintain knowledge of safe chemical handling and cleaning equipment usage (steamers).
• Follow health and safety procedures for waste handling and manual handling.
