Room Attendant, Hotel Du Vin

Rate of Pay / Hours: £12.75 per Hour plus generous company benefits, training & development / 30 hours per week

Type of Contract: Permanent

Location: Wimbledon

Working as part of the housekeeping team, you will ensure all guest bedrooms within the hotel are cleaned daily to the highest standards. You will have an eye for detail and high standards to meet our guests' expectations of a perfect night’s stay.

Hotel du Vin provides a range of luxury and boutique hotels in 18 landmark locations across the UK. Synonymous with style and hospitality, Hotel du Vin offers exquisite accommodation with a relaxing atmosphere, along with sumptuous food and wine in our trademark hotel bistros.

As a Room Attendant, you will interact with guests, so conversational English is essential. The ability to work independently for periods of time is also important. You will be a vital part of the Hotel du Vin team, ensuring all bedrooms are clean and tidy for our guests' arrivals and stays.

Flexibility is needed. You will primarily work set shifts, usually between 9 am – 3 pm, five days out of seven. Start times can be flexible between 9 am and 10 am. Early start times, flexible contracts, or weekend work can be discussed at the interview.

Being a Room Attendant is physically demanding and requires a good level of fitness. Full training on the use of chemicals and equipment will be provided.

Experience in a similar role is not required, but a positive attitude and a desire to make a difference within the hotel are essential.

We actively encourage internal development and progression. Hotel du Vin aims to have 100 new apprentices by the end of the year. Candidates will have the opportunity to enroll in our apprenticeship scheme after successfully completing their probation period.
