Role: Room Attendant, Hotel du Vin

Rate of Pay: £12.46 / 16 Hours per hour

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Newcastle

Overview

Working as part of the Housekeeping team you will ensure all guest bedrooms within the hotel are cleaned on a daily basis to the highest of standards. You will have an eye for detail and naturally high standards to meet our guests expectations of a perfect night’s stay.

Responsibilities

• Interact with Guests; conversational English is essential.
• Ensure all bedrooms are clean and tidy for guests’ arrival and continued stays.
• Work as part of the Housekeeping team to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Be a vital cog in the operation to support smooth hotel running.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Ability to work on your own for periods of time.
• Positive attitude and desire to make a difference within the hotel.
• Being a Room Attendant is hard work and may require a level of fitness; full training in the use of chemicals and equipment will be provided.
• Experience in a similar role isn’t required.

Flexibility & Opportunities

Shifts are predominantly set, usually between 9am – 3pm, 5 days out of 7. Shift start times can be flexible between 9am – 10am. If desired, earlier start times can be discussed at interview as well as flexible contracts or weekend work. Hotel Du Vin actively encourages internal development and progression; candidates may enroll on our apprenticeship scheme after probation.
