Job description

Lime Wood Hotel is seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team at our award-winning, boutique 33-bedroom country house located in the heart of the New Forest National Park. Our hotel offers a laid-back luxury experience, featuring renowned chefs Angela Hartnett and Luke Holder, a wellness spa, and uniquely designed rooms with stunning views.

About the role:
  1. Cleaning and preparing guest rooms, including changing bed linens, dusting, polishing surfaces, hoovering, and mopping floors.
  2. Cleaning bathrooms and replenishing guest supplies such as robes and towels.
  3. Providing friendly and efficient service to guests, ensuring rooms are turned around promptly and consistently.
  4. Supporting the housekeeping team collaboratively and assisting with cleaning of public areas when required.
  5. Maintaining a clean and organized stock room, reporting any discrepancies.
  6. Noticing and reporting any maintenance issues or room snags to management.
About you:
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
  • This role is physically demanding, requiring standing for long periods, and the ability to lift and move furniture and linens.
  • A proactive, motivated attitude and high standards of service are essential.
