Job summary

Soho House is seeking a Room Attendant to uphold the cleanliness, presentation and comfort of guest rooms and suites in a luxury club environment.

You will work independently with discretion, ensuring spaces meet high standards and contribute to an exceptional guest experience. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred and strong attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• A successful Room Attendant will have up to 2 years' experience in a busy high-profile venue and a natural flair for first class service.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or room attendant role preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and high personal standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work efficiently and manage time independently.
• Professional appearance and a respectful, positive attitude.
• Basic spoken English and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms, suites, and common areas according to club standards.
• Replace linens, towels, and amenities as needed, ensuring consistency and presentation.
• Check rooms for maintenance issues and report any faults or damages promptly.
• Ensure guest belongings are respected and handled with care and confidentiality.
• Maintain cleaning carts, equipment, and storage areas in a tidy and well-stocked condition.
• Support laundry services, including sorting, folding, and transporting items when required.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures, including use of chemicals and PPE.
• Communicate guest requests, room status changes, or incidents to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Assist with turndown service or special requests when required.
• Ensure hallways, stairwells, and service areas remain clean and clutter-free.
