Job summary

Leonardo Hotels Derby is seeking a Room Attendant to support the Housekeeping team and help keep guest rooms spotless and inviting. You will dust, polish, vacuum and refresh towels and linen, while ensuring bathrooms are clean and safe.

You’ll report maintenance issues and work with colleagues to exceed guest expectations. Full training is provided, with opportunities for overtime and clear paths for progression within a welcoming hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or hospitality preferred.
• Ability to work quickly and maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Flexible with shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Dusting, polishing, vacuuming and tidying guest rooms.
• Refreshing towels and linen as required.
• Stripping and making beds to hotel standards.
• Cleaning bathrooms to ensure guest safety.
• Report maintenance issues and safety hazards.

All members of the department work together to create memorable moments for guests, in line with both company and hotel-specific service standards, and collaborate closely with other departments within the hotel. As a Room Attendant, you’ll be right in the heart of the hotel, so we want you to take pride in everything you’ll be doing to support the Head Housekeeper and keep our hotel clean as a whistle. Full training will be provided so that you are confident to ensure that every bedroom and bathroom is clean and well-presented for our guests.
