Job summary

Village Hotels in Basingstoke is seeking a Room Assistant to join the housekeeping team. You will clean and service guest bedrooms, bathrooms, and corridors to high standards, replenishing amenities and maintaining a tidy trolley for smooth operations.

Ideal candidates bring a positive attitude and energy, with previous hospitality experience welcomed but not required. The role offers training, development, and opportunities to grow within the Village brand.

• Creating the Wow Factor: Cleaning and servicing guest bedrooms, bathrooms, and corridors to exceptional standards of hygiene and presentation.
• The No Problem Approach: Replenishing guest amenities, linen, and supplies while responding promptly and positively to guest requests.
• Sharp Organisation: Keeping your individual housekeeping trolley clean, organised, well-stocked, and ready to roll.
• Eyes and Ears of the Floor: Reporting any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items to the leadership team immediately.
• Shift Safety: Following all health, safety, hygiene, and COSHH procedures while using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.

Room Assistant - Basingstoke Room Attendant The Role Outline: Your Shift at a Glance Your focus is to deliver an outstanding guest experience by ensuring all guest bedrooms are cleaned, maintained, and presented to the highest standards. This is a hands- on role where you will create a true wow factor of cleanliness, making sure guest expectations are consistently exceeded.
