Job Description

ROOFTOP LOADER

As a major Canadian distributor of residential and commercial roofing and siding products, Roofmart offers a role focused on safely loading bundles of shingles onto roofs and performing warehouse duties such as inventory movement, shipping, and receiving.

Responsibilities

• Loading shingles and related products onto rooftops
• Collaborating with drivers to ensure safe and efficient deliveries
• Handling materials manually and with appropriate equipment
• Performing warehouse duties when not on deliveries
• Maintaining clean and organized work environments
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations
• Performing other duties as required

Ideal Candidate

• Requires physical strength, stamina, and the ability to work at heights (Fall Protection/Working at Heights training available)
• Valid forklift license (training available)
• Ability to lift, push, and carry 80-100 lbs repeatedly
• Strong customer service skills
• Previous warehouse and forklift experience preferred
• Knowledge of the roofing industry is an asset
