Job description

As our Rooftop Bar Manager in Glasgow, you'll take charge of the day-to-day operations of our rooftop bar. You'll lead your team to deliver outstanding service while hitting business targets and exceeding guest expectations. Reporting to the Rooftop General Manager and working hand-in-hand with other departments, you'll oversee everything from service quality and team development to budget management. You'll create an unforgettable rooftop experience that becomes a standout destination in Glasgow's social scene.

In Case You Don’t Know Who We Are:

Known for being the rule breakers in hospitality, TSH is a fun, creative and inspiring environment where everyone can work, stay, learn and play and most importantly – be themselves. As an employer we look, act and think like a hotel, but instead we offer a lot more. Think student accommodation, long and short stay options, gyms, talks, events, rooftop bar and eat & drink escapes as well as community and coworking spaces. Located in The Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy, France and Spain with several new openings on the way, this hybrid hospitality concept may take root in the heart of Europe, but our plans are set for going global.

What You’ll Do

  • Leadership & Team Management: Build and develop your bar team by creating a collaborative atmosphere where everyone can shine. Coach your staff, welcome new team members, and make sure everyone follows our people policies.
  • Operations: Run the day-to-day bar operations with a focus on consistency and efficiency. Build strong connections with local suppliers and make sure the team knows about all promotions. Keep the bar spotless and safe for everyone.
  • Guest Experience: Create memorable moments for every guest who visits the bar. Listen to their feedback and make improvements quickly. Make sure our bar concept matches what our guests expect and love.
  • Marketing & Events: Team up with our marketing folks to create exciting campaigns and promotions that get people talking. Maintain great relationships with our suppliers to bring in unique products and special offers.
  • Financial Performance: Keep a close eye on costs, revenue, and profits. Help plan budgets and find smart ways to boost our bottom line without sacrificing quality.
  • Teamwork: Work hand-in-hand with the kitchen and other departments to create seamless experiences for our guests. Jump in to support other teams when needed to make the whole venue shine.

Who You Are:

  • Proven experience managing a rooftop bar or similar high-energy venue
  • At least 1 year in an F&B leadership role balancing creativity with operations
  • You inspire your team and create a culture of accountability
  • You stay composed under pressure and communicate expectations clearly
  • Strong budget management skills without compromising quality
  • Great attention to detail in service and operations
  • Genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences
  • Collaborative approach when working with other departments
  • Fluent in English, with additional languages being a plus

What We Offer:

  • The opportunity to work at a dynamic, multi-national company. Not just another hotel - we’re a game changing innovator, challenging every convention and defining the future
  • The chance to learn and grow in your role with the potential for future growth
  • Awesome discounts in all our properties in Europe and not just for you, but also for your friends and family!
  • A wonderful workplace to call home, full of events, fun colleagues and all the other amazing salary/benefits stuff

Who you are, is how we want you to be. To us, hybrid hospitality goes across the board, from how we service our guests to how we represent ourselves. Here, everyone belongs, and we welcome people no matter their nationality, gender, age, sexual orientation, religion or culture. Your authenticity keeps our team diverse. Come as you are.
