Lancer Scott is seeking a Roofing Technician to cover the Cambridge area, delivering a comprehensive roofing maintenance service on various sites. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, assess damage, and implement repairs using SIKA products.

Qualifications

• Proven ability and experience working in a general Roofing Maintenance role.
• Solid carpentry and joinery skills.
• Knowledgeable in the use of SIKA products and able to train others.
• High levels of stamina, strength, and flexibility are required for constant bending, kneeling, and lifting.
• Well developed communication skills and able to work successfully with team members, contractors, end client and internal stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills.
• A good standard of maths skills, able to make accurate measurements and calculations.
• Comfortable working with multiple systems and maintaining accurate records.
• Full Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on roofing tasks as instructed by the Contract Support Team.
• Assess roof damage and determine the most effective repair methods.
• Use SIKA products to fix roofing issues.
• Maintain and repair guttering and fascias and plan regular cleaning.
• Assess damage, identify leaks, and create waterproof seals.
• Measure roof areas, calculate material requirements, and determine angles and slopes.
• Read and understand technical drawings and structural plans.
• Update the job log with notes and documentation.
• Support the Account Manager and Billing Team with query management to aid invoicing.
