Job summary

Fawkes & Reece (North) is seeking a Roofing Supervisor to lead re-roofing & solar PV works on tenancy properties in Halifax. You will report to the Project Manager and ensure works are delivered on time, within budget, and with strict safety standards.

Role requires SMSTS/CSCS and First Aid, with a proven refurbishment track record, preferably in roofing. Salary is up to £35,000 plus car allowance, fuel card, pension and bonus where applicable.

Qualifications

• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid are required.
• Proven track record delivering refurbishment schemes, ideally with roofing experience.
• Demonstrates a stable and progressive career history.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the programme of works is completed within correct timescales and budget.
• Maintain health & safety and promote a positive H&S culture on site.
• Monitor the quality of work.
• Coordinate 1-2 trades at one time.
• Liaise with the client to manage expectations and updates.
• Order materials to support on-site delivery.
• Work closely with the Tenant Liaison Officer to ensure tenant satisfaction.

We are working with a well established and longstanding Social Housing Contractor who specialise within roofing replacements to tenanted Social Housing properties across the North West and Yorkshire regions. The company have a great company culture and ethos. The company get regular repeat business from their clients, and have a great reputation due to the quality of work they deliver.

They have been awarded new contracts,alongside their existing contracts with clients.As a result, they are seeking a Roofing Supervisor to join them on a permanent basis, working ona re-roofing & solar PV scheme in Halifax.

You will be reporting into a Project Manager and your responsibilities will include:

• The smooth operational, ensuring the programme of works is completed within correct timescales and budget.
• Ensuring health & safety is maintained and creating a positive attitude towards H&S throughout the team.
• Monitoring the quality of work
• Co-ordinating 1-2 trades at one time
• Liaising with the client
• Ordering materials
• Working closely with the Tenant Liaison Officer and ensuring tenant satisfaction is maintained

Experience needed:

SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid are required tickets, along with a proven track record of successfully delivering Refurbishment schemes, ideally with some roofing experience.

You must be able to demonstrate a stable and progressive career history on your CV.

The salary on offer is up to £35k pluscar allowance and other benefits (fuel card, pension, bonus etc.)
