First Military is partnering with a family-run roofing contractor to expand their project management team with a Roofing Site Manager focusing on pitched roofs.

Location: Dorset, England

Salary: £200 - 250 per day

Role Overview

The Roofing Site Manager will have experience in roofing project management, be knowledgeable about Health & Safety standards, and work collaboratively with the team to deliver projects effectively. Responsibilities include managing projects from start to finish, supporting clients, and ensuring excellent customer service to promote repeat business and referrals.

Key Duties

• Build strong relationships with clients
• Assist with project delivery, including hands-on tasks
• Experience in flat roof refurbishment
• Maintain high standards of health & safety and quality assurance, conducting regular site inspections
• Provide daily reports on H&S and QA to the Contracts Manager
• Collaborate with the team to ensure project delivery and process improvements
• People management experience required
• Ensure compliance with Construction Health & Safety standards (SMSTS certification required)
• DBS certification required

Candidate Profile

• At least 5 years of experience in pitched roof refurbishment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Leadership and team-building capabilities
• Driving license required
