Job description

Aspect Group Services Ltd are currently seeking a Driver to work in our Roofing Services Division.

To carry out deliveries and collection of materials to and from depots, sites and suppliers. With elements of both driving and manual handling this role offers variety and an opportunity to work in a successful, dynamic Business.

Scope & Responsibilities of the Role

1. To operate a company vehicle responsibly and courteously, representing the company professionally and safely at all times.
2. Transport supplies and materials to multiple destinations throughout the geographical operational region.
3. Carry out daily vehicle checks, including correct vehicle tire pressure and fluids such as oil; add fluids and air as necessary; along with general safety, roadworthiness and cleanliness at all times.
4. Report potential mechanical problems to Line Manager.
5. Safely load and unload supplies from vehicles.
6. Collect requisitioned items from storeroom inventories and/or Merchants/Suppliers to fill orders.
7. Compare information on requisition or invoices to shipments received or issued to verify accuracy of order; completes requisitions, inventory or invoices and other documentations related to the delivery or shipment.
8. Set up site compounds in line with our requirements, ensuring Health and Safety and Environmental aspects are considered at all times.
9. Transport waste in line with our environmental procedures, including asbestos waste handling.
10. Undertake such other duties as may be reasonably requested.

Education/Qualifications

Previous experience within a customer service focused role

• Ideally with a 3.5ton to 7.5ton driving licence and Hiab training and up to date CPC
