Job description

A permanent opportunity has arisen for a Roofing Labourer to join a well-established and respected company based in Ipswich. This role involves assisting skilled roofers on a wide range of domestic and commercial roofing projects across Suffolk and surrounding areas.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the roofing trade, with the potential for long-term growth and career development.

Key Duties

• Assisting roofers with installations, repairs, and general roofing tasks
• Loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment
• Removing old roofing materials and clearing debris
• Transporting materials to and from job sites
• Driving company vans to various locations (must have a clean driving licence)
• Keeping the site clean, tidy, and safe
• Following all health & safety guidelines at all times

Applicant must be:

• Physically fit and comfortable working at heights
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Able to work well in a team and follow instructions
• Full UK driving licence with no endorsements – essential
• Previous experience in roofing or construction is desirable but not essential
• CSCS card preferred (or willingness to obtain one)
