Job summary
NSS Maintenance, part of NSS Group, is seeking an experienced Roofing Estimator for their Altrincham team. You will prepare accurate quotations for roofing and maintenance works, from small reactive jobs to large tenders, priced to be competitive.
You’ll collaborate with Operations, Contracts, Sales and Surveying to ensure timely, accurate pricing. Applicants should have roofing estimating experience, strong commercial and numerical skills, and the ability to manage multiple quotes independently
Qualifications
- Prior experience in roofing estimating or building maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of roofing disciplines and coatings.
- Experience pricing small to large projects and tenders.
- Ability to work with schedules of rates and produce competitive quotes.
- Comfort with managing several quotations and deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate quotations for roofing and maintenance works.
- Price labour, materials, equipment and project timescales.
- Collaborate with Operations, Contracts, Sales, Surveying and Engineering teams.
- Carry out site surveys for larger/complex opportunities.
- Build relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Follow up on quotations and support process improvements.
