Our client, a leading construction company with a history dating back to 1972, has established itself as a prominent player in the UK construction industry, specialising in Flat and Pitched roofing.

They are currently seeking an experienced Flat Roofing or Pitched Roofing Estimator to join their dynamic team at the headquarters in Bedford.

About the Role:

As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates.

Key responsibilities include:

• Reviewing site surveys and take-offs conducted by surveyors
• Generating precise cost estimates using Excel-based software
• Procuring all necessary subcontractor prices
• Participating in Contract Reviews with the Contracts Department upon project acquisition
• Monitoring and enhancing the skill set of junior estimators
• Assessing margin levels for projects across various client portfolios
• Occasional on-site visits may be required, but this is primarily an office-based role

Job Requirements:

• Valid driving license
• You will be an experienced Flat or Pitched Roofing Estimator
• Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
