Job summary

MMP Consultancy Limited is seeking experienced Roofers to perform repairs, maintenance, and installation across social housing properties in Bristol and surrounding areas.

You will work independently to high workmanship standards, complying with health and safety regulations and completing paperwork as required. A valid asbestos awareness, height, and manual handling certificates, DBS check, and own tools are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Slater & Tiler.
• Valid Asbestos Awareness Certificate.
• Valid Working at Height Certificate.
• Valid Manual Handling Certificate.
• DBS Check.
• Full UK driving licence and own transport.
• Must supply and maintain own tools.
• Strong knowledge of roofing materials, methods and safe working practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out slating and tiling repairs, renewals, and installations.
• Diagnose roofing defects and undertake remedial works.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and site-specific requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Liaise professionally with clients, tenants, and colleagues.
• Complete relevant paperwork and job records as required.

Salary: £23 CIS
