The Vacancy

Here at Wates, we have an opportunity for a roofers mate to join our Living Space Responsive team in the West Lancashire area.

In this role as a roofers mate, you will work alongside an experienced team of skilled roofers and collaborate with our social housing partners.

Key Accountabilities include:

1. Undertake repair and renewal roofing works
2. Communicate effectively with the scheduler, residents, and line manager
3. Work safely and comply with Health & Safety and safeguarding requirements
4. Stay up-to-date with technical and legal requirements of the role
5. Collaborate with other operatives to complete repairs as needed
6. Complete worksheets detailing work and materials used after each job, via a PDA
