Job summary

UnifyHQ are recruiting a Roofer to join our client’s renewables team delivering non‑ECO Solar PV installations across South Wales. This is a full‑time, permanent site role with a steady pipeline of projects.

You will install and seal Solar PV mounting systems across slate, concrete, clay, flat and pitched roofs, ensuring weatherproofing and quality workmanship while coordinating with electricians and project teams on site, and prioritising health and safety.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Roofer
• Demonstrable experience working on Solar PV installations
• Strong knowledge of roof structures and weatherproofing
• Experience across multiple roof types
• High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
• Solid understanding of working at height and site health and safety
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Roofing works associated with Solar PV installations
• Installing and making good Solar PV mounting systems
• Working across a range of roof types including slate, concrete, clay, flat and pitched
• Ensuring all penetrations are sealed correctly and roofs are left fully weatherproof
• Identifying and reporting roof defects before installation
• Working closely with electricians and project teams on site
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety, including working at height
• Ensuring all work meets manufacturer guidance and company quality standards
