Choice Services is seeking to appoint a fully qualified Roofer to provide an efficient, responsive, and customer-focused service to our customers. Operating as a wholly owned subsidiary, Choice Services will initially focus on Response Repair Services and Planned Works to a third of our stock, mainly in the Greater Belfast area. The goal is to enhance customer satisfaction and deliver better value for stakeholders.

Essential Criteria:

• A time-served Roofer.
• Demonstrable experience in building maintenance roofing services on Tile & Slate Pitched Roofs, including renewal of felt & battens, rainwater goods, hip, valley & ridge replacement and repointing, lead works, installation of roof vents & roof lights, and flat roof works.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in minor building and maintenance sectors.
• Proven ability to deliver high levels of customer service.
• Ability to use a PDA smartphone mobile working device.
• Valid driving license.
• Reliable and flexible.

Desirable Criteria:

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in the social housing sector.
• Valid CSR Card.
• Experience in multi-trade works.

Benefits include: salary paid fortnightly, death in service benefit, 5% employer pension contribution, health cash plan, 32 annual leave days including statutory holidays and 3 additional days after 5 years of service.
