Job summary

Pyramid Plus is seeking a Roof er to join our team in Staines. The role involves general roofing repairs across occupied and tenanted properties, including tiling, felt roofing, chimney work, flat roofs, lead work, and guttering.

You will work 42.5 hours per week (8-5, Monday to Friday) and have the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic maintenance program within a growing joint venture between A2Dominion and Mears Property Services.

Qualifications

• UK full driving licence is required.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Experience in roofing repairs is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• General roofing repairs across occupied and Tenanted properties.
• Replacement of roof tiles, felt roofing, and wooden battens.
• Chimney repairs and replacements.
• Installation and repair of flat roofs, including felt and asphalt systems.
• Lead work including flashings, soakers, and valley gutters.
• Repair and installation of ridge tiles, verge tiles, and hip tiles.
• Guttering and downpipe repairs and replacements.
• Fascia, soffit, and barge board installation and maintenance.
• Roof insulation works to joists and rafters.
• Repairs to rooflights and skylights.
• Emergency callouts to make properties safe after damage or leaks.

Pyramid Plus is a dynamic joint venture between A2Dominion and Mears Property Services, delivering high-quality repairs, maintenance, compliance, planned replacements, and fire risk assessment works. Serving over 23,500 homes, we complete more than 38,000 repairs, 1,000 void refurbishments, and install 600 kitchens and bathrooms each year. With a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, we’re entering an exciting phase of growth. This role offers the opportunity to be a key member of the senior management team, driving the successful delivery of our planning and customer service functions at the heart of our operations.

Role Criteria

• General roofing repairs across occupied and Tenanted properties
• Replacement of roof tiles, felt roofing, and wooden battens
• Chimney repairs and replacements
• Installation and repair of flat roofs, including felt and asphalt systems
• Lead work including flashings, soakers, and valley gutters
• Repair and installation of ridge tiles, verge tiles, and hip tiles
• Guttering and downpipe repairs and replacements
• Fascia, soffit, and barge board installation and maintenance
• Roof insulation works to joists and rafters
• Installation and repair of roof vents, eaves ventilation, and ducting
• Repairs to rooflights and skylights
• Emergency callouts to make properties safe following storm damage or leaks
• Identification of defects and recommendation of remedial actions
• Working with reclaimed roofing materials where appropriate
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety regulations
• Accurate recording of materials used and time spent on jobs
• Liaising with tenants and site supervisors to ensure clear communication and minimal disruption
• Supporting planned maintenance programmes and refurbishment projects
• Ensuring compliance with the Decent Homes Standard and other regulatory requirements
• UK full driving license
