  • Previous trades experience in a similar role.

  • Up to date relevant knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
  • Current and Valid Full & Clean UK driving license.
  • Valid CSR Card.
  • Previous experience working within the Construction Industry.
  • Ideally have experience working within the Social Housing sector.

Job description
Overview

Nicor are recruiting a Roofer to work on Social Housing maintenance projects for a leading Construction Company in Belfast and around Northern Ireland.

Competitive salary with long term contracts in place.

Working hours: 8am-5pm Monday - Friday. Overtime available.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a high-quality service to tenants, specifically within domestic properties that are either occupied or void.
  • Ensure any additional work is captured and communicated to the relevant person, and using the company PDA system so that the company can invoice for additional work completed.
  • Compliant in timeframes allocated of jobs, ensure target dates are met.
  • Compliance with materials / workmanship schedules.
  • Maintain and care for all company tools.
  • Use appropriate safety equipment.
  • Ensure areas of work are left clean, tidy and safe at all times.
  • Be responsible for and take due care of the company van in accordance with the company car policy.
  • Liaison with the client, consultants, contract administrator, head office etc.
  • Be responsible for your own safety and all others around you.
  • Material co-ordination and organisation.
  • Ensure accurate / timely completion of any relevant site based documentation.
  • Oversee/assist in the training of apprentices as required.
