What will you do?

Play and test games, focusing on identifying linguistic bugs and reporting them clearly using bug databases. Effective communication in English is essential.

What would you do at work?

• Ensure games and applications are linguistic bug-free to provide the best user experience.
• Check in-game text for linguistic accuracy and cultural appropriateness.
• Follow Universally Speaking's LQA process and standards.
• Use industry-standard bug databases to report and track issues.
• Own the bug fixing process, ensuring issues are resolved correctly.
• Become an LQA Expert across various projects and specializations.
• Manage and execute test cases throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers during requirement gathering to support testing.
• Seek continuous improvement and efficiency in work processes.
• Coordinate with the QA team.

• Quality, speed, and accuracy of bug reports.

• Ongoing improvement in LQA workflow and skills.

Requirements

You are a great match if you:

• Are an expert in Romanian.
• Have proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Are passionate about video games.
• Are a team player, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Are proactive, tenacious, and enthusiastic.
• Have a focus on quality and attention to detail.
• Are proficient with computers, MS Office Suite, and database handling.
• Have the Right to Work in the UK.

It’s really useful if you have some of the following, but we can teach you if not:

• Experience in LQA, translation, or proofreading.
• Experience with LQA testing tools.
• Knowledge of CAT tools like MemoQ.
• Understanding of the video game industry and trends.
• Higher degree in linguistics (desirable).
