Job summary

Masstemps Ltd in Wolverhampton is recruiting for a Rolling Mill Setter to join a well-established steel manufacturer's team on a temporary to permanent basis. You will set up and operate cold roll forming machinery and ensure production runs smoothly.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, fault-finding skills, and a strong mechanical aptitude. Monday to Friday: Days, £15ph - £16ph, with long-term career prospects and a secure working environment.

Qualifications

• Experience setting and operating rolling mill machinery.
• Experience within a steel manufacturing or roll forming environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Rolling Mill Setter

Masstemps Ltd are currently recruiting for a Rolling Mill Setter on behalf of one of our busy clients in the Wolverhampton area.

Salary:

• £15ph - £16ph

Duties:

• Setting and operating cold roll forming (rolling mill) machinery.


• Preparing and setting tooling to ensure efficient production runs.


• Carrying out routine machine adjustments and troubleshooting where required.


• Performing basic maintenance and reporting any mechanical issues.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience setting and operating rolling mill machinery.


• Experience within a steel manufacturing or roll forming environment.
