Job summary

ITS Building People is seeking a reliable Roller Operator for a project in Horsham, West Sussex. You will operate a road roller/compactor on construction sites and work to the required specifications.

The role is temporary with potential overtime. A CPCS or NPORS card and a full UK driving licence are essential, and own PPE is preferred, though some items may be provided for a small fee.

Qualifications

• CPCS or NPORS qualification and a valid UK driving licence.
• Ability to perform manual labour and operate plant safely.
• Own PPE or ITS PPE provision for a small fee.

Responsibilities

• Operate a road roller/compactor safely and efficiently on construction sites.
• Compact soil, tarmac, stone and other materials to specification.
• Carry out daily pre-start checks and report defects.
• Follow site health and safety procedures, RAMS, traffic management and PPE requirements.
• Work with groundworkers and site management to keep site on schedule.
