Role: House Manager

Contract: Permanent

We are looking for a House Manager for a private household in Chelsea, South West London.

This is a full-time permanent position where you will be contracted to work 40 hours per week, ordinarily working from 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday – Friday. Flexibility to work weekends with days off during the week when the principals are in residence is required (10-12 weekends per year).

The ideal candidate will have previous experience running the household of an UHNW individual or family, preferably with a strong housekeeping background, with more recent experience as a House Manager.

Duties and responsibilities;

• Overseeing the day to day running of the household
• Packing and travel preparation
• Updating and maintaining clothing inventories
• Wardrobe management
• Recruitment and training of new staff
• General housekeeping duties to support the full-time Housekeepers
• Supporting with laundry and ironing when needed
• Liaising with the family office and household staff
• Supporting with the coordination of a property move
• Liaising with contractors
• Responsible for ordering items for the household
• Implementing new systems to improve the efficiency of the household
• Assisting with pet care

To be considered for this role you must;

• Have a minimum of 5+ years’ experience as a House Manager/Housekeeper
• Have a valid passport
• Be eligible to work in the UK
• Have excellent contactable references
