Our lovely clients are looking for a positive, enthusiastic, and nurturing nanny to care for two delightful young boys (3 years and 10 months) in Hammersmith. This is a sole charge position, working alongside loving and hands-on parents. There will be a phased handover with mum before she returns to work full-time. Both parents have full-time careers, with some flexibility to work from home.
This is a relaxed and professional household, their previous nanny was with the family for 3 years and remains much loved. They are now hoping to find someone equally special to join their family long-term.
An ideal nanny will have strong experience working with young children, whether in a nanny or nursery setting. You’ll be someone who connects easily with children, communicates clearly, and can turn everyday routines into joyful, playful moments. A calm, confident, and developmentally-minded approach is key. Montessori or similar nursery experience or qualifications are preferred.
You’ll need to be full of energy and happy to get stuck in from nursery runs to trips to the park, playgroups, classes, and a local family club. The older child is currently receiving support for a speech delay, so fluent English and strong communication skills are essential. The nanny will play an important role in continuing to support his speech and language development.
Your responsibilities will include preparing fresh, healthy meals for the children, carrying out nursery duties, supporting routines, and ensuring the boys are happy, safe, and thriving.
The family also has a much-loved small dog who is very much part of the family. A nanny who genuinely enjoys dogs and includes them in the day-to-day will be a great fit.
A confident driver is essential for nursery drop-offs and outings.
Interviews are taking place now for an immediate start.
