Our Lead Schedulers join us on a 9-month training programme which ensures robust training and support for all colleagues. The post holder should be organized, reliable, able to prioritize, and adaptable to support the office effectively.

ROC Lead Schedulers are responsible for delivering resourcing services to the Trust, including planning relief shifts, processing annual leave requests, and maintaining KPIs. They manage sickness calls, book training days, support shift swaps, overtime requests, and handle general queries via numerous Outlook email accounts.

They also maintain and oversee the Global Rostering System (GRS), manage personnel records, rota patterns, and handle sensitive information, including testing software updates and providing help facilities. While they do not have line management responsibilities, they are expected to mentor others and work autonomously as experts in their areas.

Working for us offers a unique experience, providing emergency and urgent care 24/7 across England's largest ambulance region, responding to approximately 2,650 incidents daily.

We are committed to delivering the best patient care, reflected in our five-year strategy focused on continual improvement.

The role is based in Exeter, a vibrant city with excellent transport links, independent shops, cafes, and bars.
