Job summary

Redline Group is seeking an experienced Robotics Software Engineer - C# in Hertfordshire to join a growing engineering team developing autonomous harvesting robots for the agricultural sector. You will develop and enhance software, analyse logs and data, diagnose issues, and test directly on robotic hardware, ensuring robust, production‑worthy code.

Working with Product and Engineering teams, you will prioritise features, improve usability and performance, and contribute to deploying technology

Qualifications

• Several years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Strong programming skills in C#, .NET or other C-family languages.
• Experience within a robotics environment is essential.
• Experience working with hardware and testing software on physical systems.
• A methodical, evidence-driven approach to problem solving, drawing upon multiple sources of data to identify root causes.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Python experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities
