Job description

Your new company
Are you an experienced Robotics Engineer or a graduate looking to get a foot into your career? An exciting role has opened up with one of our clients working with a robotics welder, reporting to the Engineering Manager. The role will involve a mixture of programming and other duties.

Your new role
In this role, you will:
  1. Develop programs for new assemblies using offline CAD DTPS software.
  2. Find and fix faults.
  3. Be involved in testing of new products.
  4. Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for build processes and troubleshooting guides.
  5. Assist on the factory floor with operators to develop knowledge of the product range.
  6. Review current programs to remove bugs and calculate cycle times.
  7. Build reports involved in Lean/5S projects.
What you'll need to succeed
3rd level qualification in mechanical/electrical engineering or similar, previous CAD experience. Desirable Criteria: Previous exposure to an engineering environment, previous experience in welding/welding processes, and leadership experience.
