Amazon is looking for a Robotics Deployment Engineer (DE) for the European region. Your role as DE includes supporting the technical execution of Robotics deployment projects. You will travel to construction sites, interact with on-site teams and remote stakeholders, analyze and resolve technical issues, and oversee deployment milestones. You will also provide training and technical presentations to other teams and collaborate closely with product development and support teams.

Travel requirement for this role is up to 75%.

Key responsibilities include:

• Having a solid understanding of IT and data network concepts (e.g., Linux OS, Internet, Ethernet, Wireless protocols)
• Automating tasks using scripting in Linux or Windows PowerShell, troubleshooting, and repairing systems
• Being proactive and eager to learn new skills independently
• Enjoying hands-on activities

Typical day involves traveling to a site, reviewing project activities and milestones, addressing technical issues, participating in meetings with stakeholders, and concluding the day with team interactions.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication, Robotics, or equivalent
• Relevant experience in the field
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Hands-on troubleshooting skills (hardware, software, infrastructure)
• Proficiency in Linux administration and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of data network concepts and protocols
• Experience with scripting languages
• Examples of resolving software, hardware, and network issues
• Experience in automating tasks through scripting
• Comfort working in a construction site environment
• Driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• MS in relevant fields
• Certifications like Cisco CCNA, Linux Administrator/Engineer
• Experience deploying robotics technologies
• Additional language skills
• Experience leading international teams and projects
