Job Description:

If you love working with robots, this is your opportunity to shine and grow! Enough with academia, enough with single-use robots that only function in controlled environments. At Dexory, we build and deploy robots designed for the real world—navigating complex, dynamic environments every day. Our one-of-a-kind robots can reach over 14 meters high and are already transforming operations in 50+ major warehouses worldwide.

As a Robotics Software and Commissioning Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in bringing our robots to life. You’ll work closely with the production team to ensure seamless deployment, develop tools for ongoing maintenance, and support software releases. This role requires a strong foundation in software engineering, robotics, electronics, and mechanics to ensure our robots perform at their best in real-world environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary software engineer within the commissioning team, helping to prepare, test, and configure robots.
  • Support the verification and validation process of software releases across our robot fleet.
  • Develop automation tools and processes to enhance robot inspection, calibration, and maintenance.
  • Conduct thorough configuration, calibration, and functional testing before deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to propose and implement system improvements.
  • Get hands-on with cutting-edge robots every single day—and have fun while doing it!

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with robots—through academic projects, research, or professional roles.
  • Proficiency in C++ and Python, along with strong knowledge of version control and best coding practices.
  • Experience with software release processes, QA, CI/CD, and Ansible.
  • Strong understanding of ROS (Robot Operating System).
  • Basic knowledge of electronics and mechanical engineering principles.
  • Passion for robotics, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to precision.

Starting from the interview process and continuing into your career with us, you will be working by our four Operating Principles:

  • Performance: High standards, outstanding results,
  • Commitment: All in, every time
  • One team: One mission, shared success

Joining our team and company isn't just about expertise; it's about embracing uncertainty with ambition. We're crafting world-changing solutions, fueled by a passion to redefine what's possible. We will look for you to help create and shape the future of logistics solutions through our products, our culture and our shared vision.
