Job summary

Collins Aerospace, based in Wolverhampton, is recruiting a Robotic Welding Technician for the Power & Controls SBU. You will operate and maintain robotic welding cells, work with Fanuc teach pendant, and use Fronius welding equipment to support production.

Ideal candidates will have robotics and welding experience, good communication, and strong fault-finding skills, enabling continuous improvement of welding processes on site.

Qualifications

• Experience with robotics preferred.
• Fabrication and welding experience desirable.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to identify issues and adjust welding parameters as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain robotic welding cells.
• Process components using certified robotic welding programs.
• Maintain robot and welding equipment functionality.
• Troubleshoot issues affecting weld quality and cell performance.
• Support Welding Engineer with new products and improvements.
