Robot Operator

Meteor Sealing Systems LLC, has been in business for over 20 years and is one of the top leaders of automotive sealing systems for respected and luxurious vehicles. Considering our continued growth and fast paced environment, we are looking for factory production workers to join our team. We are currently seeking Robot Operators to provide support to Meteor Sealing Systems, LLC manufacturing team.

Open Shifts (Weekend Availability as Needed):

· 1st Shift (7am – 3pm)

· 2nd Shift (3pm – 11pm)

· 3rd Shift (11pm – 7am)

Training period is required.

Alternative shifts may be required while training.

Overtime is available – may be required with limited notice.

Essential Job Functions and Basic Duties:

  • Set-up and mix components (paint)
  • Maintain spray system and quality standards with minimal scrap
  • Start-up and shutdown of the robot spray stations per standard work instructions
  • Maintain spray fluid levels and utilize robot PC control stations
  • Clean the entire systems and replace hoses as required
  • Monitor and adjust spray weight/volume
  • Ensure that the appropriate fixtures are in place for jigs being loaded
  • Clean parts with specified solution
  • Load appropriate parts to carriers/jigs into turntable fixture and remove jigs from fixtures
  • Place jigs on oven cart, monitor oven temperatures, and load/unload oven carts
  • Place oven carts in assigned locations for cooling and finishing hand off
  • Utilize metric measuring tools to verify parts meet print
  • Locate boundary sample board and review conforming and non-conforming products
  • Change spray guns as required and ensure product is stored properly on shop containers/carts.

Education and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent.
  • Must be 18+ years old
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment:

  • Exposure to moderate noise levels is probable

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to perform tasks including standing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive work.
