Job description

We are searching for a friendly and enthusiastic veterinary receptionist to join our team at Bath Vet Group as a Roaming Receptionist. This is a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. The successful candidate will possess previous customer service experience and be confident in interacting with clients to provide a high level of service and customer care.

The role includes meeting and greeting clients, booking appointments, handling queries, taking payments, dispensing medication, and other tasks. Experience with customer service and administration is essential, along with being computer literate. This is a busy, demanding role requiring the ability to multitask and work well under pressure.

The position involves travel between all Bath Vets branches in Bath, Melksham, and Keynsham, so the ability to travel within the same day is necessary.

Rosemary Lodge is a busy 24-hour veterinary hospital. The role requires being computer literate, confident with figures, and able to cope under pressure. We offer a supportive and friendly working environment with great benefits.

Your shifts will be between 7:30 am and 7 pm, plus 1 in 4 Saturdays at Bath Cat Clinic (8:30 am - 1 pm), working across all Bath Vet Group branches. Rota schedules will be provided at least one month in advance.
