Roaming Senior Chef, North Yorkshire, £38,000 plus Mileage Allowance

Yorkshire Based Hotel & Country Inn group, Rosette Standard

Sick of working in the same kitchen, with the same menu or looking to get out of the City and working in some of the finest kitchens in the stunning North Yorkshire countryside? Then this may be the ideal position for you!

Working for the region's premium Hotel & Country Inn group, you will be tasked with working alongside the group Exec chef to support the talented kitchens throughout the region, covering holidays, occasional shortages, and events. This is a very rewarding position for the right forward-thinking head chef.

Our clients are offering a fantastic package for the right chef:

  1. A superb salary of £38,000 plus mileage
  2. The opportunity to develop the varied venues' menus and kitchen cultures alongside the Exec chef
  3. A loyalty scheme payable every 6 months
  4. The opportunity to work in some of the region's finest kitchens, cooking up to a 2 rosette level

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  1. A proven fresh food led background, ideally to a Rosette standard, be it Gastro, Restaurant or Hotel
  2. The position is ideally for an established head chef, although sous chefs with a proven management history will be considered
  3. A desire to innovate & create, and be excited by local seasonal products
  4. A sound understanding of kitchen management
  5. Being mobile is a must due to location and nature of the position, no company car included - Yet!
