Job summary

Care South is seeking a Roaming Head Chef to cover Dorset care homes across Bournemouth, Dorchester, Ferndown, Gillingham, Poole, Ringwood, Southbourne and Weymouth. Shifts run 7:30 AM–6 PM, 40 hours over 4 days, including every other weekend.

Pay up to £16 per hour plus 33p per mile and enhanced bank holiday pay. A full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle for business use are essential, with appropriate business use car insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide roaming head chef coverage across Dorset care homes.
• Ensure health and safety and food hygiene standards are met in all kitchens.
• Support the ethos of Food, Fun & Friendship through meals and service.
