A leading council in Scotland is seeking a dedicated individual for a full-time role in road maintenance operations. The successful candidate will be based at Gauchalland Depot in Galston, undertaking a variety of tasks aimed at supporting the community and ensuring roadway safety. Emphasis on a safe working environment, diversity, and inclusivity will be upheld. This position offers a competitive salary with 37 hours work week.
Carry out a wide range of road maintenance duties and related driving activities, including winter gritting and emergency work, supporting the wider work programmes and operations undertaken by Ayrshire Roads Alliance. This role contributes to achieving the Joint Committee's key objectives, specifically in relation to the Council's Community Plans, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreements, and Best Value.

This is a permanent full-time position based at Gauchalland Depot, Galston. The post is 37 hours per week, with working hours from 8 am to 4 pm Monday to Thursday and 8 am to 3:30 pm on Friday. The annual salary ranges from £27,436 to £28,725.
