Overview

Mobile / Roadside Vehicle Technician - Stevenage

Location: You will have a geographical area based on where you live so this isn’t crucial. This opportunity is covering the Stevenage area

Salary: £48,720 basic plus overtime (Paid at time and a half which is £35 per hour). Overall earnings can be as high as £57,000 depending on how much time you're willing to do.

Hours: This is a 40-hour working week with the earliest start time 6am and latest finish time 2am. Rota is posted 14 days prior to shifts, these can change with up to 72 hours’ notice.

Role responsibilities

• Working closely with the breakdown team you will be tasked with attending breakdowns to diagnose issues. You will work on the vehicles to ideally get them back on the road, or ensure the vehicle goes back to the workshop.
• Identifying problems and advising the customer on the vehicle’s issues.
• Vehicle servicing & general maintenance including electrical & vehicle diagnostics.
• Mobile Vehicle Technician / Roadside Technician are the face of the business, so it’s important you deliver exceptional customer service.

Requirements

• Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician preferred, but not essential; minimum Level 2 qualified
• Must hold a full UK driving licence
• Strong all-round technical experience – maintenance, technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
