About the role

The purpose of this role is to attend and repair vehicle (bus) breakdowns on the road, carry out change overs & minor repairs on the roadside.

Key Accountabilities
  • Attend and repair breakdowns
  • Carry out change overs & minor repairs on the roadside
  • Book out parts when required
  • Work within health and safety regulations
  • Deliver a high standard of repair/temp repair to get the bus back to depot
  • Ensure an effective working relationship with staff
  • Complete accurate breakdown records, keeping paperwork up to date and filled in correctly
  • Carry out any other duties deemed suitable by the engineering manager
About you
  • Do you hold a valid UK driver's licence?
  • You do not have to hold a PCV licence, but that would be advantageous; we will help you obtain it if not.
  • Do you have on-the-job experience?

Rotating 5 over 7, early shift and late weekends to cover

£14.00
