Job description

Mobile Vehicle Technician - Chesterfield

Location: You will have a geographical area based from where you live, so this isn’t crucial. This position covers the Chesterfield area.

Salary: £35,000 basic, with overtime earning up to £53,000 annually.

Hours: Varying shift patterns from Monday to Sunday, totaling 40 hours. Earliest start at 6am, latest finish at 12am. (Plenty of overtime available paid at time and a half)

Role responsibilities:

1. Attending breakdowns to diagnose issues, working closely with the breakdown team. Repairing vehicles on-site or arranging for them to be taken back to the workshop.
2. Identifying problems and advising customers on vehicle issues.
3. Vehicle servicing and general maintenance, including electrical work and diagnostics.
4. Delivering exceptional customer service as the face of the business.

Candidate requirements:

1. Level 3 qualification in light vehicle maintenance (proof of certification required).
2. Full UK driving licence.
3. Strong all-round technical experience, including maintenance, electrical, and diagnostic skills.
