Job summary

The AA is hiring a Roadside Rescue Mechanic in the United Kingdom. You will operate as part of our Roadside Services team, responding to breakdowns and getting drivers back on the road with your technical skills and customer focus.

We offer guaranteed year 1 earnings of £40,270 including allowances, with an OTE up to £60,000 for top performers. Shifts average 40 hours per week with flexible patterns and a supportive, safety‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
• Full category B driving licence with 6 points or less
• Confidence using and adapting to new technology and tools will be provided by the company
• Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends and bank holidays

Responsibilities

• Start and finish on your driveway; paid from entry to home
• Work independently across varied locations while being part of a supportive team
• Use your technical knowledge and clear communication to ensure a positive customer experience
• Resolve roadside issues on the spot with calm and professional approach
